Zoran Samac attended Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in 1986, and was called to the bar in 1988.  Zoran was an articling student and thereafter a junior lawyer for the Honourable Mr. Justice John C. Wilkins of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice before his appointment to the bench.

 

In his 36 years of practice, Zoran has been involved in various aspects of litigation.  During the first half of his career, Zoran practiced in the field of personal injury, criminal defence and he defended hospitals in medical malpractice matters.  Throughout his career, Zoran has represented various insurance companies in civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, personal injury defence, property insurance matters, coverage disputes, and first party insurance matters.

 

Zoran has successfully appeared in all levels of courts in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

 

Zoran has been successful in numerous personal injury trials, most of them jury trials, throughout the course of his career.  Zoran actively continues his litigation practice and looks forward to his new chapter with ZSRH Litigation Lawyers LLP.
